Saving Leatherbacks

Global Cause believes strongly in the importance of saving endangered species and their habitats. For many years, our scientists have collaborated with scientists in China to strengthen the population of giant pandas in the wild. 

 

While saving wild giant pandas has been our primary focus, we have also been alert to the need to save endangered sea turtles from extinction. The leaders of our science team have devoted themselves to sea turtle conservation for decades. They are co-founders of our long-time partner The Leatherback Trust. 

 

We support sea turtle research and the professional development of young scientists working on sea turtle conservation. We look forward to expanding these important efforts in the future.
